Auslan Alphabet
The Auslan alphabet, often called fingerspelling, uses two-handed signs to represent each letter of the Latin alphabet. Each letter is signed using a specific hand shape and movement, with the dominant hand making the movement and the other hand remaining still or acting as a "blackboard hand". The vowels (A, E, I, O, U) are also signed using specific handshapes.
